Rocket Gardens are pretty good value, considering how many plants you get and how easy our gardens make growing your own. However, even we didn't realise quite how much money growing your own veggies can save you.
We've done a bit of investigative work, figuring out how much it would cost to buy the equivalent amount of organic produce that a Rocket Garden produces from a supermarket. See right to see what we came up with....
Please note, that our figures are not exhaustive and act as a guide only. To get our results we worked out roughly the amount of produce you can expect from the plants in our Small Vegetable Garden. We then looked at the average cost that same quantity of organic veg would cost in the supermarket. Despite our slightly less than scientific workings, we reckon the difference in price is pretty significant. And this doesn't take into consideration the cost of transporting yourself to and from the supermarket. |
